During FSWeekend 2025, SoFly announced its newest airport entry for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Developed by SkyHigh Studios for SoFly, Hannover Airport is promised to be their most detailed yet. Featuring high-quality ground texture work, detailed 3D interior modelling of the main terminals, and an accurate layout. Furthermore, SoFly says that Hannover Airport will feature the use of its Interactive Scenery Technology found in Ohird and Cardiff Airport.
This technology will see airport interaction such as openable doors as you approach them, moving escalators, and even a bus that sticks to a routine timetable as it drives around the airport (complete with interactive bus signage and advertisements). As with Ohrid, there will also be dynamic snow build-ups and some other unannounced interactive elements.
Hannover Airport (EDDV) is a key international hub in Lower Saxony, Germany, providing a smooth travel experience for passengers while serving as a vital cargo gateway for Europe. Located just 11 km north of Hannover, the airport efficiently manages both domestic and international traffic with its three terminals and two parallel runways.
SoFly expects to release Hannover Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 Spring 2025 and promises to share more details in the coming weeks..
